Hello, I'm Charlie.
Bubbly outgoing person, grown up in Bristol around artsy bars and clubs, loves talking to people and feeling that buzz at the bar. Multitasking, socialising and time management all come very naturally, so barwork is ideal.
I worked at Boardmasters Festival 2025, which was my first time working in a festival environment, and I was really struck by the buzz and energy of the place. I worked at the main stage bar, so the experience was extremely busy, loud and chaotic, and I remember particularly loving the teamwork aspect of the process; just managing the orders and keeping everything running smoothly during the festival's busiest times. Since then I have been very interested in working in similar environments, and would love to work in fast-paced bars, in the UK and travelling. I have mainly worked in retail until last year, and so have strong customer service skills, knowledge and communication, and want to just get out there, work hard and bring energy to the work environment.
