Disciplined, hard working and highly motivated junior bartender willing to make a bartending his long time career.

Growing up in a touristic country of Croatia, I have always been exposed to tourism in one shape or another. I have gained important knowledge working a seasonal work in a bar in my hometown of Rijeka and it was there that my interest in bartending began. Afterwards, going to the Uni and working some other jobs, I have taken a break from bartending until 2025. In September of 2025 I started working at the Billabong. It is a charming Australian themed bar on the famous "Ring" street in Vienna. It was especially there where I learned what it means to work in bartending and everything that comes with it; stress, fun, dealing with problems efficiently. I have definitely tested myself and grew there since it is a known and busy place. Especially on weekends. I have left impression on my boss with my attitude, responsibility and trust so much that after only 1 month he gave me a responsibility of closing the bar alone and invoicing. You need to have a certain attitude, skill and wit of knowing how to deal with people and especially the (sometimes) belligerent drunk people - this was not a problem for me. Meeting various people from all over the world, new found friends, romantic interests.... all of this has sparked in me a desire to move it to the next level and that is why I went to the EBS International Bartender Course. I am ready to embark on the cocktail making career and see where life takes me :)
