Hello, I'm Kira.
I'm a highly motivated, passionate bartender, who strives in a fast-paced environment with a great eye for detail. I enjoy helping my team and keep learning new skills.
I started my hospitality degree at a career specific vocational school, where I attended Berufliches Schulzentrum Kronach for my first year in addition to Staatliche Berufsschule Bamberg 2 for the last two years of my course. With this, I obtained a dual degree in hospitality, finalised by a recognised qualification exam. The primary focus of my Hotel Industry Expert degree were the food and beverage departments. This intensive, hands on training set me up for success in my profession, while I was also working full time during this time frame. I developed a passion for creating an exceptional guest experience through my hard work ethic, professionalism and eye for detail. After spending 4 years in my home country working in the food and beverage industry, I strived to gain more experience in my career by bringing my talents to different countries and cultures being Ireland and Canada. With these opportunities, I developed an extensive skill set; including working behind the bar in a fast-paced environment and excercising my leadership abilities in my role as Banquet team lead where I over saw the entire events operations. To advance my skill set behind the bar, I decided to partake in the international course of the European Bartending School for its hands on training, which I successfully completed, gaining a broad knowledge of the bar operations and the classic cocktails and spirits. I'm eager to learn and quick to do so, and I am extremely enthusiastic to share my knowledge with my team in the workplace to ensure operational excellence.
