Hello, I'm Ziying.

Multilingual bartender based in Madrid, curious about flavors, passionate about cocktails and always excited to learn something new behind the bar.

Working behind the bar has taught me how much I enjoy the combination of creativity, hospitality and teamwork that comes with bartending. I have experience working in a busy bar environment, where I learned to stay organised, work efficiently under pressure and, most importantly, make sure guests feel welcome even during a hectic service. My interest in bartending goes beyond service. I enjoy experimenting with ingredients, developing my own cocktail recipes and understanding how different flavors work together. Training at EBS Madrid gave me a stronger foundation in classic cocktails, bar techniques and professional service, and made me even more interested in exploring the creative side of the industry. One of the things I enjoy most about hospitality is meeting people from different backgrounds. I speak Chinese, English, Spanish and Korean, and being able to communicate with guests in different languages has always been something I value. I am now looking to gain more experience in cocktail-focused bars, learn from experienced bartenders and continue developing my own style. In the future, I would love to experience different bar cultures and keep discovering new techniques, flavors and approaches to cocktails.
