Hello, I'm Joss.
I am hard working. I rate working within a team and happy to work independently. I love experiencing new things and most importantly I enjoy the craft of making cocktails.
I finished my A levels last year and spent the rest of 2024 working to save up for travelling. I traveled around South America for 5 months. Once home, I enjoyed a balance of activities, festivals and working before attending EBS Barcelona. Some of my experience that relate to bartending (outside of EBS) : - working for a catering company (weddings, private events) over the summer months between 2022 - 2024. Once I turned 18, I worked on the bar at these events serving drinks and making guests feel welcome. During this time I gained a good idea of what hospitality was really about. - I've also worked on a bar at festivals such as Glastonbury and other smaller ones. I learned how to deal with large crowds, large orders and late shifts. - not necessarily related to bar tending is my expeirance working in the prickly pear restaurant where I started as a KP then shifted into the kitchen as a sous chef. I learned some valuable skills here such as the importance of team work and how to stay calm and collected during busy hours.
