I am a travel hungry individual, finally wanting to settle in the UK, but in a new career that excites me and allows me to develop, grow and learn everyday. I'm passionate about all things bartending and can't wait to meet you.

At 18, I finished school with good grades and no idea what I wanted to do afterwards. To give myself time I decided on a gap year of travel, this turned into a 10 year gap and in that time I have had many different job roles: bar staff, tour guide, English teacher, Program Support (NGO REACH Siem Reap) and for the in-between travel moments in the UK I was a nursery practitioner (Ages of children 0-4). All of these roles that I've accumulated in the past 10 years are transferable into the roles of a bartender. For example my diverse work history has honed my ability to connect and collaborate with people from all walks of life. In my roles as bar staff and an English teacher, I developed excellent customer service and communication skills, which wasn't easy but important as not all people in the team had English as a first language. These communication skills are essential for building rapport with guests and a cohesive team. My time working abroad taught me how to be highly adaptable and flexible, completing tasks out of my normal role description but doing so in aid of the team and to learn new skills. From working in a profession with deadlines, I learned to maintain a calm and professional demeanour under pressure. I bring a positive and enthusiastic energy to my work, a quality I learned is essential for both a positive team environment and for ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience.
