Hello, I'm Ashling.
Enthusiastic and outgoing bartender from Ireland with a strong passion for delivering exceptional bar service. Brings a particular expertise and deep appreciation for Irish whiskeys, combined with a broad knowledge of spirits & cocktails.
With nearly five years of hospitality experience across a variety of roles, I’ve developed a well-rounded, hands-on understanding of the industry—from waitressing and pot-washing to bartending and hosting. I spent three years in a lively inner-city wine bar in one of Ireland’s most popular cities, where I handled table service, food running, and developed strong knowledge of both red and white wines, alongside front-of-house hosting duties. I later transitioned to bartending in a rural pub, adapting to a new clientele while serving a wide range of beverages including beer, spirits, and barista-style coffee. During my studies, I worked as a floor service team member in one of Ireland’s busiest student bars, with a focus on maintaining hygiene and service flow during peak hours. In April, I completed the European Bartender School’s International Bartending Certificate, earning a B grade. This intensive course enhanced my skills in free pouring, flair bartending, cocktail preparation, spirit knowledge, and responsible alcohol service. I'm also currently volunteering in a housekeeping role, further building my attention to detail and work ethic. Currently, I am employed at a chic inner city wine bar - a bustling environment with a range of over 40 wines from Spain, France and Italy, as well a deep appreciation for Spanish cuisine.
