Christian Camilo Huertas Rendón (Cali, 1996) is a media communications manager at the Tecnológica Autónoma del Pacífico (UTAP). He is a professional bartender at Coffee & Cocktails (CO & CO) and holds Foundation, Social Responsibility, and Certificate qualifications from the Colombian Bartenders Association (ACBAR) and the International Bartenders Association (IBA). He graduated from the European Bartender School (EBS) as an International Bartender in Barcelona, Spain. He is passionate about hospitality and always providing great customer service from the moment they arrive, during their visit, and when they leave the establishment. He has a deep love for gastronomy. He has always been drawn to cooking, from traditional to haute cuisine. He enjoys keeping up to date with recipes, techniques, ingredients, and even plating and glassware. He reads everything and writes from time to time. At one point, he was attracted to magic, especially card magic, which is why a deck of cards is one of the things he always carries in his bag. A staunch believer in and defender of a more just society, he respects fundamental rights, promotes greater opportunities, and encourages solidarity and generosity towards others. He is against social and economic inequalities. He also considers himself an animal lover and has created the #BarPETender campaign, through which he feeds stray animals with the tips he earns.
