I am someone who thrives on stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing new, challenging experiences. I never give up.
Without any prior knowledge or expectations, I traveled to Phuket to pursue a bartending course, a decision that was both daring and transformative. During the training, I fell in love with the world of cocktails and bartending. However, I faced a significant challenge when I was sick for 7 out of 28 days of the course. Catching up with no prior experience was tough and I missed the opportunity to take the Flair exam within the original timeframe. Driven by my passion for bartending and my persistent nature, I stayed in Phuket for an extra week after the course ended to master the Flair skills and complete the exam. My hard work paid off, and I earned a special certificate from the European Bartender School, recognizing my dedication to their core values: Hard Work, Spirit & Soul. While the delay meant the highest grade I could achieve was a C, to me, it’s just a letter. The true mark of a bartender’s skill is shown behind the bar.
