Enthousiastic bartender and waitress with a love for working with people, a passion for food and a never ending curiosity.
Juggling a university study, a love for traveling and a job in hospitality can be challenging at times but it is worth every second of it. I study Food technology at the Wageningen University in the Netherlands, food has always been a passion of mine and being able to study the ins and outs of the food industry has only increased my interest. Some people call me restless, I prefer overexcited. Whilst traveling I love to learn new things and be a part of something. I have done a language course in Spain, a surfing course on Lanzarote, volunteer work in South Afrika and recently a bartender course in Phuket. This last one was an eye opener for me. I loved building the cocktails and practicing flair, additionaly learning about why cocktails work and the history and production of strong spirits satisfied my curiosity. Having worked in hospitality since my 15th I can say that I have gained a lot of experience in working with people and serving with a smile.
