Looking for a Head Chef, to oversee the operations of our small kitchen - operating alongside our exciting new cocktail bar in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Fotherby’s On the Rocks is looking for Head Cook / Chef, to oversee the operations of our new kitchen and restaurant, and manage a kitchen staff of approximately 3 – 4 people.

This is your chance to be creative, to experiment with tropical ingredients, and help us design a new menu – including bar snack favourites, fresh seafood and grilled meats.

Requirements:
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A warm personality - sociable and approachable
- Experience catering to an international clientele
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Restaurant experience is a must; additional bar or restaurant management experience will be considered a bonus

International flights, travel visa, and basic on-site accommodation will be provided by employer. Contract of employment has to be a minimum of 6 months. Immediate start date desired.
