Hello, I'm Silvio.

I consider myself a very organized and outgoing person. I like when things taste and look good and bartending gives me the chance to take care of both these aspects.

I began working in the industry in the autumn of 2018 in a night club in Italy where I worked as a bartender, bar back and waiter. To further my skills, I attended a one-month course hosted by the European Bartender School in Barcelona. In the autumn and winter 2019-20 I moved to France to improve my French language skills and to further my career in hospitality. I worked and lived in a hostel in a large tourist city where, in addition to typical reception tasks, I organised and supervised the execution of cocktail evening events every week. In January 2020, I cooperated in the creation of a cocktail bar located in the common area of the hostel. My role in its creation included managing the choice of the equipment and its arrangement, estimating the budget required for its realisation, establishing the cocktail list and its pricing determined on the basis of the profit margin. The cocktail bar has enjoyed success with its catering to hostel guests and weekly cultural exchange events. During summer 2020 I worked as waiter and second bartender in Mang!o, a Food & Drink project inspired by the street food events. I was also in charge of the bar stock and of the setting up of tables in the dining room.
