Food & Beverage Supervisor– Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa
We are looking for exceptional and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisors to join our Team!
Who are we?
Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa is a leading luxury golf and spa destination in the North West of England. Set in 200 acres of lush green landscape, boasting 2 function rooms, 2 meeting rooms, 76 bedrooms, a luxurious spa and two golf courses, we offer the perfect location for Weddings, Events, conferences, meetings, team building and so much more.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a team player with a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position in a hotel. You will consistently deliver the highest standard and quality of customer service, thereby ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience in all F&B areas and that service expectations are exceeded.
You will have the ability to work well with all team members in the F&B departments, manage the shift in conjunction with the Restaurant and Bars Manager and work to a high standard in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all members and guests have a memorable experience in all F&B areas (including the Restaurant, Bar, Gin Bar, Lounges, The Patio and meeting and event rooms), such that customer service expectations are consistently exceeded.
- To manage the shift in conjunction with other supervisors to ensure that staffing levels reflect the demands of the business and that payroll costs are kept in line with KPIs.
- To ensure that the food and beverage team on duty are fully briefed and allocated duties for their shift, and that everyone is aware of the level of service standards expected.
- To monitor, train and lead the team in service standards.
- To be responsible for atmosphere and presentation of all F&B areas (including the Restaurant, Bar, Gin Bar, Lounges, The Patio and meeting and event rooms) which will include ensuring all aspects of the front and back of house areas are spotlessly clean, the music and lighting are set at the correct levels and the temperature is comfortable.
- To contribute to increased F&B revenues by upselling from the food and beverage menus (and train F&B Team members to do the same).
- To check all guest account signatures and ensure all bills are settled.
- To follow the cashing up and cash handling procedures.
- Rate of pay will be adjusted to reflect any changes that may occur as a result of the increase to the 1st April 2024 National Minimum Wage rate.

Salary: £11.10 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
