Young certified bartender with previous experience in hospitality industry with various employers and in team environments. Experience working at formal wedding and event venues and comfortable approaching VIP guests in professional manner.

Having spent various years working part time in the hospitality and food and beverage industries prior to attending Lester B. Pearson United World College of the Pacific in order to complete my high school education, I decided to pursue bartending as a career primarily due to its offering of a fulfilling and dynamic work environment. In 2021, I had the opportunity to work with a local catering company by the name of The Kitchen Door, as a part of which I worked at various formal venues during weddings and other formal events. Above all else, this experience allowed me to build a strong skill in professional communication and in upholding company standards while in a high pressure environment. Furthermore, prior experiences as a waitress in various cafés and restaurants as mentioned on this profile also helped me to become a more confident and independent employee, both of which are attributes I consider to be very valuable in any professional environment. Having said this, I also believe an ability to work as a team member is crucial. Primarily, alongside academic growth, my boarding school experience in Canada provided me in a holistic understanding of what it means to function as a unit, and this is a value and take with me into the workplace. While certainly challenging at times, being required to share a space with over 200 other students of different nationalities, cultures and religions helped me to develop a true appreciation for humans, also contributing to my interest in working in the bartending industry. Lastly, my experience as a first generation immigrant to Australia gave me the privilege to see various aspects of the world through a very different lense. Moreover, I am able to communicate fluently in three languages in written and oral contexts. I am a passionate person and interesting in meeting likeminded individuals in the workplace.
