Hello, I'm Hugo.
A casual yet well-mannered bartender from the Netherlands, I studied Commercial Economics for two years before deciding to travel the world and try different things. I'm very open to experimenting and gather experience where I can.
Working in retail at H&M and customer service at call centers, I learned to work with a team as well as interact with customers. Customer service is crucial to me, and while I wouldn't want to return to a call center, the only reason for that is that I wouldn't be able to meet my customer face-to-face. I love interacting with people, having a little small talk and figuring out who they are and what they would like. I think that that is crucial in taking bartending to the next level, from simply serving drinks to being able to gauge what drink someone would really want.
