Hello, I'm Joy.
I am from Switzerland and planning on living and working here in Amsterdam as a Bartender. I am an open minded, social and attentive person who likes to work with customers and loves to learn new things and skills.
In 2018 I started my apprenticeship as a draftsman in switzerland. I studied for 4 years, graduated and then came to amsterdam to become a bartender. I got in touch with bartending at the festival I worked at in switzerland back in july 2022. I decided afterwards to do the EBS Bartender Course in Amsterdam and started working afterwards. The hoxton, 4 star hotel, bar and restaurant was a great first experience. I started as barback with regularly bartender shifts. A big company with many different departments gave me insight how service in such an establishment can look like. Amaze is a more tourist orientated venue. It was a great opportunity to take control and responsibility for a bar. We are a very young team working together to push the bar to success.
