Hello, I'm Adam.

Eager to learn bartender from the UK who has lived in the Netherlands for the past two years. I enjoy all types of cocktails from the new to the classics but am entirely fascinated by Tikki, from the culture to of course the cocktails.

Having moved to the Netherlands I was pleased to see the vibrant and positive work culture especially for young adults that was apparent. Unfortunately, due to Covid and having to complete my studies I was unable to truly immerse myself in it and begin working. After completing school, I decided to take a year off which led me to completing the 4-week bartender course. I immediately fell in love with making cocktails, working behind the bar and exploring the history behind the classic and new cocktails. Whilst at school I was a house captain, making me responsible for organising events for the whole school with a small team of my peers. Having to communicate with the teachers and discuss our plans and work out how we as students could achieve our plans made me truly understand the importance of good communication between a team to ensure success. Given the opportunity I would love to work at a bar and experience how it is to work at the pass, but also hope to learn from experienced bartenders all the tricks of the job to help me further my knowledge and understanding of how to keep a vibrant and positive bar running.
