Hello, I'm Jacob.
A creative, knowledgeable and customer focused bartender from Sweden with a big interest in service, and a passion for mixing drinks, whether it is a creation of my own or a spin on a classic!
My interest in bartending and hospitality started in 2019 with a bartender course I attended in Dublin, Ireland through European Bartender School. Through the course I managed to get a very good understanding of serving techniques, spirits, mixology and everything else involved in the bartending role, obtaining me an International Bartender certificate and finishing the course with a grade of 89% on the final practical and theory exams. The knowledge I obtained through the course I have been able to put to good use working as a bartender in one of Ireland`s most prestigious cocktail bars, Peruke & Periwig. In the role of bartender, and later bar supervisor, I have gained fast knowledge of the hospitality industry. Putting my knowledge to practical use and learning from great teammates has helped me to greatly improve professionally and learn all the necessary tools to provide outstanding service and learn the administrative duties required of a bar supervisor. Working in Peruke allowed me to work with some of the most renowned bartenders on the Irish bar scene and be part of a great team dedicated to always providing excellent service and an amazing customer experience, whether in a busy, fast paced bar environment or a more laid back, cosy restaurant setting. Paired with experience from several other service-oriented jobs I have developed great communication skills and attention to detail, allowing me to be familiarised with all the ins and outs of customer service.
