Hello, I'm Oliver.
I am excited to explore new work and opportunities in London, having graduated from University. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and writing; and work part-time with a local youth theatre, encouraging children's artistic development.
Bartending has been a significant and rewarding passion in my adult life. In 2019, I qualified from the European Bartender School in London and then worked in Camden until before the pandemic. Before then, however, I developed an interest in the elegant and fascinating craft of cocktails. I began teaching myself skills through reading, for instance, Dale Degroff's 'The Craft of the Cocktail' and Salvatore Calabrese's 'The Art of the Cocktail', and also online resources. From teaching my friends and family how to make some of our favourite cocktails, to hosting private events also; and, making lasting connections both with co-workers and customers, cocktail making has rewarded me in a vast number of ways. During the pandemic, I even created a short instructional video series to continue practising myself, and to teach others in an entertaining way. Now I am excited to be looking for new opportunities, to enhance and further my knowledge and experience in this industry.
