I prioritise the customer when on shift, as it is vital they receive a friendly and efficient service. I work hard to complete all my jobs quickly and with care; everything should be done correctly. I believe in creating a comfortable and lively atmosphere for the team, as customers usually absorb the mood of the staff. Clear communication is key for me, between both customers and other staff members. By working in different types of pubs and taking on a few managerial roles, I have gained valuable insight into the way they are run and what works well.
