Hello, I'm Filip.

I am a young and ambitious bartender from Croatia, and bartending is my passion. I am eager to learn more, work more and wish to success in my bartending career. I love to think outside the box and expand my horizons.

My name is Filip, and I'm a young ambitious bartender from Europe, Croatia. I finished a Hospitality Management High School in Croatia at the top of my class, where I also did internships in many top restaurants in my region. During my hospitality training learned how to behave in the front of the house, how the dining area works, and how to treat the guests. I also learned what it means and what it takes to be behind a bar. This is where my love for bartending started. Because of my high performance in my studies, I got offered many internships in Europe, including France and Slovenia, where I spent a month learning and working. I really valued my time spent there, and I would really like to continue working abroad, and develop my career. In 2018, I moved to Phuket, Thailand in order to complete my studies in European Bartending School. This let me explore and discover the true charms of bartending. I spent every minute and moment learning and expanding my horizons. I finished the school with 90% rate, and I gained a International Bartending Certificate. During my stay in Phuket, I saw the potential of this island, all the bars and the 5 star hotels and resorts, that might help me pursue my career. I was doing internship as a Management trainee mostly focused on bars, and learning how to manage multiple bars and outlets at Marriott Merlin Beach for a year and a few months, but the current situation that happened worldwide, unfortunately had to make me stop my work there and relocate to Croatia. Recently I worked as a Head Bartender in a bar on the Adriatic Coast where we had a record – breaking high season of 2021 in the history of tourism and hospitality in Croatia. I would like to continue my career in a good, luxurious, professional and reputable bar. I know that there is World's best and leading bars worldwide, that always keep a high standard towards it's guests and it's own staff, and it would be a privilege, challenge and an honor to be a part of that bar and hospitality scene. I would like to be given a chance to better my career, and with that, to better the company that I'm working for.
