Hello, I'm Thilo.

My name is Thilo Schröder, I am 22 years old, My next goals - to expand my network , deepen my social skills and my professional competence, and take away as much knowledge and experience as possible. And get to know new cultures.

I completed my three-year apprenticeship as an EFZ Chef at the Cantonal hospital in Rorschach. Here I was able to learn the basics of gastronomy, as well as how to deal directly with patients, visitors and staff. I also enjoyed working there at banquets and events and received very good professional training. After my chef training, I completed the 4-week International Bartender Course in Barcelona at the EBS (European Bartender School). There I learned the history, the basics and how to mix different spirits and cocktails. What I learned there still accompanies me today. On 1 November 2018, I started a job as a chef at Peter Schildknecht Gastronomie in Sankt Gallen. My tasks included a la carte service and banquets. Here I learned how to deal with stressful situations, keep a cool head and support my team in a positive way. My long-term goal is to build an international career around Hospitality and Events. The first step was the decision to start further education to become a hotelier at the Hotel Management School Lucerne (SHL) . I am now in my 3rd semester with the main topics front office, accounting, revenue and yield management.
